Experience the ultimate in cold therapy with our clinical-grade cryotherapy chambers,
designed for maximum impact and comfort.
At CryoLabs, our whole-body cryotherapy chambers use a two-stage process to deliver safe, effective, and controlled cold exposure.
Your treatment begins in the pre-chamber at –50°C to –60°C for 30 seconds, allowing your body to acclimatise and minimising temperature loss before you enter the main chamber. You’ll then move into the main treatment chamber, where temperatures range between –120°C and –130°C. Here, you’ll remain for a further three minutes.
During the session, the extreme cold activates the sympathetic nervous system, triggering a natural “fight-or-flight” response. This releases a surge of endorphins, boosts energy, and reduces pain perception. Blood vessels constrict, redirecting circulation to the body’s core, which helps reduce inflammation and promote recovery.
Our chambers are chilled using nitrogen, but this process takes place externally via a heat exchanger. As a result, only cold, breathable air enters the chamber. This allows full-body immersion, including the head—a vital factor for maximising benefits, as the head contains a high concentration of thermo-receptors. These amplify the body’s response to cold, stimulating powerful anti-inflammatory and mood-boosting effects.
Full-head exposure also activates the vagus nerve, encouraging deeper relaxation and improved sleep quality, while supporting more complete anti-inflammatory responses and enhanced pain relief compared with treatments where the head remains outside the chamber.
Despite the sub-zero temperatures, the experience is surprisingly tolerable thanks to the dry cold air, which feels far more comfortable than an ice bath.
Participants may exit at any time by following the same procedure used to enter. At the end of the session, once the timer has finished, the operator will notify participants via intercom and guide them safely back through the pre-chamber.
Unlock significant improvements in recovery, injury prevention, and overall
wellbeing.
Recover faster, feel energised, and combat inflammation with advanced cryotherapy. By stimulating circulation, easing soreness, and flushing out toxins, whole-body and localised treatments help your body repair more efficiently. Whether you’re pushing limits in sport or managing everyday strain, cryotherapy supports quicker recovery so you can return to the activities you love, stronger and more resilient each time.
Improve your wellbeing and restore balance with the power of cryotherapy. Sessions can enhance sleep, lift your mood, and increase vitality — leaving you refreshed and revitalised. By reducing stress and supporting natural healing, cryotherapy promotes a balanced mind–body connection, helping you stay energised, focused, and in tune with your health and vitality every day.
Cryotherapy helps prevent injuries by quickly addressing tissue trauma. The extreme cold triggers a strong anti-inflammatory response, reducing swelling and discomfort, while protecting muscle tissue at a cellular level. It supports faster recovery, improves circulation, and enhances tissue resilience, helping your body cope better with physical stress and lowering the risk of future injuries.
For the best results while remaining safe, wear minimal, dry clothing and ensure sensitive areas are protected.
Men: Sports shorts are ideal; a loose-fitting top is optional.
Women: Swimsuits, sports shorts, or leggings with a non-wired sports bra work best; a loose-fitting top may be added if desired.
All clothing must be completely dry and free from metal (e.g., no underwired bras, zips).
Compulsory Items (All provided by CryoLabs):
Jewellery: Please remove all jewellery before your treatment or entering the chamber. If you can’t remove something, make sure it’s fully covered.
Skin Preparation: Make sure your skin is dry and free from creams, lotions, or oils before entering the chamber.
For the best results, try to avoid food or drinks containing caffeine for at least two hours before your treatment. Caffeine can speed up your heart rate, stimulate your nervous system, and affect hydration, which may reduce how effective your session is.
To ensure your safety and comfort, all clients are asked to complete a General Medical Questionnaire and a Consent to Treatment Form before their session. The medical questionnaire will be sent with your booking confirmation and should be completed prior to your arrival. Our trained operators will review it and discuss any points with you if necessary, either before your visit or on arrival. If you have any questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
The Consent to Treatment Form is completed on arrival after your induction, ensuring you feel fully informed and prepared.
Certain medical conditions may mean cryotherapy is not suitable for you. These are outlined in the medical questionnaire. If needed, we may suggest checking with your GP before your session for added peace of mind.
